Aftermarket wheel markings and fitment, not popularity

Popularity is not a compliance argument. Markings, load rating, offset and coverage are.

Direct answer

Whether any particular wheel brand is “common” in Australia is a market-share question this site will not answer, because we will not invent a statistic. What matters for registration is whether the wheel and tyre combination meets the placard duty, the rim and tyre standards, coverage, and VSB 14 LS if the combination is a modification your state treats as certified.

This heritage URL is kept. The popularity framing is retired. Read aftermarket wheels and tyres.

Check the rule before you buy the part

If a change affects structure, emissions, lighting, tyres or the vehicle description on the register, stop and read VSB 14 plus your state agency. We can point you at the primary page — we cannot sign the car off.
