Tasmania vehicle modification rules

Tasmanian plates mean Transport Tasmania process. The national bulletin is still VSB 14.

If the vehicle is registered in Tasmania, start at Transport Tasmania’s vehicle modifications information and the vehicle-inspection pages beside it. VSB 14 remains the national technical code.

Inspections

Tasmania’s inspection network is how in-service standards are checked. A modification that was signed elsewhere still has to be acceptable to the Tasmanian register if the car will carry Tasmanian plates. Ask before the boat or the Spirit, not after.
